Autumn Leaves

A lot of people think the leaves don't change colors in the South. Growing up in Florida, that was pretty true. Even down further south in Georgia, it isn't quite as dramatic. But up here in the North Georgia mountains? Everything's been turning bright reds, oranges, and yellows for weeks now.

I finally went out and took some pictures:

These next two are photos of the bell tower at Dalton State College, where I'm finishing up my history degree. It's iconic for the school and rings every hour on the hour.

  1. I love all of these leave pictures! That is one of the biggest things that I miss from living up north (Indiana) opposed to living down south (Texas.) I miss when fall began and all the leaves changed colors and then started to fall once it started to become winter. There is no changing leaves down here in Texas. I miss all the colors!

Thanks for allowing me to re-live it for a minute or two from these pictures! :)
